KING MAGAZINE Starting with a late Winter 1964 issue, this magazine was a "Playboy" type format. The content was a mixture of famous personalities such as Jackie Stewart writing articles, politics, sport and of course a few pin up photo features. None of these issues have a year on the cover (only a month). The year date is on the inside page. Early issues however have no year on them at all, but from a subscriptions form that started the next issue you can work out the dates. Copies of King magazine are always difficult to find these days as sales were far lower than somethin glike Playboy or Penthouse magazines. KING MAGAZINE WAS TAKEN OVER BY MAYFAIR MAGAZINE |
