1. Most older, or higher priced items have been scanned and images provided to view. They also have "Paypal purchase" buttons for quick credit/debit card payment using Paypal/ Paypal shopping cart. 2. Lower value, or more recent items may simply list the item and the price, but have no images or "paypal purchase" buttons. If you want to purchase any of these items simply send an e-mail to us at comicsmagazines@aol.com stating your items of interest. An invoice for the goods will be sent to you via e-mail or Paypal. PAYMENT TERMS. 1. All card payment orders are by PAYPAL using the Paypal shopping cart on this website. You must have your card registered with Paypal to make card payment as we have no direct means of processing your credit/debit card. 2. If you are not registered with Paypal and are U.K. based, then you can still make arrangements to pay by UK cheque. 3. Overseas payments are by PAYPAL only. These Punch magazines measure roughly 9 x 11 inches (23 x 28cms) in size and the page count is usually 24 pages including adverts. Each issue features social and polital commentary of the day plus period advertisements. The inside front page, back pages and usually another page or two inside feature classic advertisements of the period. Many of these adverts are brands that are still with us today-Pear's Soap, Capstan, Birds Custard and more.
Each issue also featured social and political cartoons as well as text. Each issue has 2 full page cartoons suitable for framing as the reverse side of the page is blank.
All contents are black and white text, line or half tone (For some adverts).
Punch magazines are now more commonly found as bound half yearly or yearly or yearly volumes. It is not often that individual unbound magazines turn up for sale from this period of 100 years ago. These issues are a little window on the last of the Edwardian period and a time just before the Great War.
